I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a shaker pint.
Appearance: dark nutty brown hue with a moderate haze and a thin layer of tan foam. A handsome dunkelweizen.
Smell: a little wheat, a little banana, a little roast, a little chocolate. Not too bad.
Taste: a bit of wheat and a bit of banana, but there's a phenolic undertone here I don't love. Not the worst thing in the world, but not my favorite.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: not my favorite dunkelweizen in the world. Too much phenol and even a little bit of acetone maybe?
