Had this on tap at the detroit beer co. resturant in downtown detroit. Pours a very dark and hazy orange. Tastes of very bitter citrusy hops with a very smooth finish. This one was definately a hop bomb. Polished off two pints of this and I was pretty impressed. Was worried I wouldn't find anything good to drink here, but this hop bomb saved the day.

64 ounce growler brought to the Bruery's first anniversary party by HopHead22, nice to meet you yesterday Tim and thanks for sharing, poured into a Bruery tulip, reviewed from notes on my cell phone
A-Golden amber color with some orange tint, 1/4 inch creamy white head, lost a good amount of carbonation from being in the growler, still had some lacing though
S-Citrus, strong piney hoppiness, even some floral accents too, grassy characteristics, grapefruit, light malt, caramel, and herbal scents
T-Huge citrusy hop flavor at first, smooth bitterness in the middle, slightly dry but also sweet in the finish with a good amount pine and grapfruit, stays dry all the way and has a nice refreshing bitter quality, this stuff even tasted good when I went back to it thirty minutes later and it was warm
M-Very dry, piney, moderately sweet, and very citrusy mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, very low level of carbonation, taste lingers a long time which was nice
D-Could drink a lot of this, nicely balanced for a DIPA, could not believe how hidden the alcohol was, thought it was way lighter in ABV just from the taste alone, was told later and was shocked
I had never heard of this brewery or beer, very pleasant surprise though, and it was a nice break from all the sours we opened yesterday, would like to drink again but do not know how likely that will be, recommended
