It looks like a lot of money went into this downtown brownstone that was home to a clothing store for something like 115 years. It's big, it's bright, and has 15 or so taps of perfectly serviceable beer that isn't going to excite anyone who's been into craft beer more than a couple weeks. Food is Southwest leaning and good. There's a basement speakeasy, but we can't speak about that. Bartenders have been friendly and knowledgeable, at least during off hours. Family friendly to the point where there's some kind of jungle gym tucked into the back.
If your thing is beer, go to Star City instead.

Visited with the Little Lady for her Birthday. Nice upscale interior, a little
clunky with where to order the beer and food right next to the door (hint),
nice seating, well lit, and service was good but understaffed (felt bad for her so
left a good tip!). Beer was pretty good for not being open a full year. Stout
needed more body and deeper flavors to pull it out of what could easily be labeled
a porter. Food looked good but we had already eaten at Bullwinkle's.
Will journey back after a year and give it another go. Time will improve them
and the offerings will improve as well. Would be great for a show and a date night
in the lower level.
Cheers
