Copenhagen 30/12 201. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A sniffing wolf silhouette crudely drawn on the can. And they promise me a Crisp, clean Blonde Ale with a hint of Juniper. The version I am drinking is holding an ABV of 6,0.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a midsized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty sweet odor in dominance with a bit of berry fruitiness peeking. Pale malts, caramel, biscuit and bread. Blueberry, ginger and juniper.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong bitterness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit spicy. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Very much on the herbal side and not exactly crisp and clean.
