Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and dank hops, lemon, grapefruit, catty dankness and a hint of pine. Flavor is pale malt with a little caramel, citrus and dank hops, orange, grapefruit, mixed light stone fruit and catty dankness. Some fruit esters in finish with solid citrus rind bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A very promising introduction to this newish brewery's IPA offerings. Great citrus and dank notes and a very appealing wisp of light stone fruit notes in the late taste and finish. Good bitterness. This is a very nice West Coast style IPA of the citrus and dank leaning variety. I'm a fan.
