I can't help but to give this one exceptionally high ratings...
Tried it at the Bruges beer festival in 2007 (?) and returned at the end for another serving, seeing that this was only sold in full-size kegs rather than bottles.
Amazing blackish dark-brown brew that blew me away, very sweet, extremely full-bodied and complex taste that doesn't hide its strength (10.5% ABV) either, even if the alcohol in itself isn't very present.
Any fan of sweeter, very solid & heavy beers should try to taste this one, I found it to be absolutely amazing! To this day it remains one of the most surprising and original brews I've come across.

Purchased at the British Bottled Beer bar, Pig's Ear Beerfest. December 2006, packaged in a slim 330ml green bottle. The beer label specifies its identity as a "Triple Malt Strong Stout". Bottled date: 07/04, consumed on 8 FEB 07, served cool in a large Burgundy bulb wine glass.
A: murky dark brown in colour, almost black; the tan-hued beer head is negligible, leaving but a rim of brown foam on top of very fine and sporadic fizziness--true to a British bottled Imperial Stout.
S: dense and rich black malts, dark chocolates and roast nuts, licorice, treacles, overripe cherries, powdery yeasts... all mixed in one; laden with a firm trace of warming alc. at the back. Not bad, but the structure is not clear enough to be excellent.
T: sweet coffee lands on the palate upfront, gradually followed by liquidy nutty dark malts and treacles, as well as soothingly tannic bitter taste that is mixed with a hint of licorice and dryness coming from unknown Indian spices... bitter-sweet chocolates mixed with a healthy edge of sour-sweet dark fruits (on skins) in the finish, slightly woody/rusty and tannic on the mouthfeel, leaving just a faint touch of alc. developing into a pleasantly warming throat.
M&D: after two and a half years of bottle-conditioning, the texture remains fantastically refreshing with streams of microscopic fizziness to stimulate the tastebuds, resulting in an intriguing contrast to the relatively mild flavour for an Imperial Stout. The body is just medium to light, without a firm backbone and belying a truly strong content that brings a kick-back if consumed too quickly. Overall, an easy-drinking and not complex Imperial Stout this is. For those British Russian Imperial Stouts I've tried, this one is rather modern and moderate, not a top dog by all means; but it's all the same enjoyable in its own way~~

"Triple Malt Stout"
A - Dark tan thin head. Mud black body.
S - Light char aroma. Sweet malt.
T - I dont buy the fact that this is 10.5% for a minute. This is so light and integrated. Amazing stuff. Charred malt, luscious yeast, notes of overripe plums.
M - As smooth as a baby's cheek, and pretty high viscosity.
D - This stuff is silky and delicous. I want it for breakfast.
Thank you RobBeer for lugging this amazing brew all the way to Japan for me.
