Picked up this bottle about a year ago and had forgotten about it. thought it would make a nice night cap.
Pours thick with a faint tan head. Interesting looking as it is a deep black with a tint of red.
Smells of toasted grain, chocolate, and bit of unripe plums.
T- Dry Cocoa nibs, toasted malt, a little espresso and bit of alcohol at the end.
M&D - a bit more carbonation than other stouts but very light on the tongue. On the lighter side of Medium bodied, but still rich and creamy. Dry aftertaste leaves the palette clean and makes this one easy to drink.
