At the brewery, into a pint glass.
Pours a dark amber with solid white foam. Aroma is nutty and rich, lots of honey and dark brown bread. Flavor is similar, rather dry and not very sweet but heavy on the roasted malt. Finish is a little sticky and a little sweet which helps smooth out the pretty dark front end. Feel is good, carbonated enough, and no weird booze.
Overall, not my favorite brand of maibock. This style is normally a strong helles lager but this one was definitely on the dark side with lots of Munich malt. Still, a good beer from a brewery with a good reputation.
