This was my favourite beer at a beerfest that had 34 cask beers on handpull.
Really dark mahogony colour (I wonder where they got the name of the beer from?), with a fine thick off white head.
Fantastic aroma of toasted malts and barley and really rich smell.
For the taste, read the comments on the aroma. Intense flavour of roasted malt, difficult to remember it is only a 3.9% beer.
Mouthfeel is rich like the aroma, almost viscous.
A very good beer, I must visit try more of this breweries beers.
