Copenhagen 17/12 2023. 33 cl can from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Two birds struggling with getting access to a beer can on the can.
Pours clear mahogany with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor with lightly toasted notes. Caramel, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Toasted bread and biscuits.
Strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a nutty streak. Lingers for a bit. Finish is a tad sugary.
Quite sweet but overall decent Vienna.
