First ever beer review from this Rogers, MN brewery. This stout had one of the most beautiful appearances. Cocoa tan head - substantial and nearly undying. Body was very dark brown. The head receded to a large ring and the lacing was glamorous and lasting. Aroma started as mostly coffee (good even though I don't drink coffee) but then suggested chocolate. The flavor brought these and others into a melange of coffee, dark chocolate (dry and bitter) along with a hint of sweet creaminess and malt roast.
I must admit that I did have a second of this beer and, yes, I had remembered it well. Yum!
