Poured from 330mL can into a kitchen glass. Canned 1/30/24, expires 1/29/25.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a bit of haze and a couple fingers of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: quite sweet with a wheaty, fruity character. It’s maybe not my favorite witbier out there, but it’s not gross or anything.
Taste: kind of like the aroma, there’s definitely wheatiness here, but it’s not super … witbier-ey. That’s how the brewer bills this, but the ingredient list doesn’t mention orange peel or coriander or anything, so it’s hard to say what the intention is.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: it works in a pinch, and it’s drinkable, but I’m not gonna seek out this beer again.
