Tasted by half-pint at the Market Porter, Borough Market, South London. This one seems to be a St. George's Day special according to the pump-clip.
A: clear straw hue, a nice thin white blanket on the top, graudally leaving very tight lacing against a low carbonated body.
S: spicy Goldings and earthy Fuggles-like hoppyness abounds, but smelling quite settled, not "floating"/exciting; a citrussy+floral note and bready/toasty malts sustain at the back.
T: lightly sour flavour of ___(?) and intensively dryish bitter hops, leaving a bitter edge of toasted malts and a clean, soothing palate, slightly like German Pilsners~~
M&D: the overall mouthfeel benefits a lot from the soft carbonation, and the body just feels ever so light for a 4.9%abv. blond ale/bitter. A very quaffable beer with some balance.
