Brown 500ml bottle, best before 7th July 2011, drank and reviewed 16th Jan 2011. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. The beers name is a play on a famous comment made during the 1966 World Cup final.
Good clear looking beer, reddy/dark amber body with a tight white cap of bubbles on top.
The smell was fruity as well as both hoppy and malty, so a mixed bag of aromas.
The flavours in the smell carry on into the taste, this is a well balanced bitter and really tasty.
Wentworth brew loads of beers for this company, cheap, tasty and great value, good on um!
