Stangen IPL is an unfiltered Session India Pale Lager with a moderate bitterness. It is a modern craft beer which combines the best of two worlds, the smoothness of bottom-fermented lager yeast with a fruity, well-balanced hop aroma.

Copenhagen 30/5 2025. 50 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Simple orange can with the name of the beer and the brand logo with the Stag with great antlers in black.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. No icing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and meaty odor mingling with citric fumes. Sweet pale malts, bread and caramel. Sweet peach. Citrus and lime.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, soft yet lively and gently tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweetish India Pale Lager.
