6oz pour at Hamilton Beerfest. Beer 5/6. Review from notes. With Adam, Nash! Carrie, Ryan and Sarah!
Appearance - Milky yellowy brew with some orange highlights. A finger plus of head and good staying power.
Smell - Tropical notes with a milky lactose backbone, this is pretty sweet with some passionfruit leading the way.
Taste - Matches the nose with a sweet vanilla-esque flavor mixing with some passionfruit and other citrus. Milkiness drops off in the aftertaste when bitterness increase and becomes more standard IPA fair.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and medium-full bodied, creamy with the lactose included. Carbonation is modest and a touch flat in the finish.
Overall - A pretty decent milkshake IPA. 3rd best out of 6 at the Beerfest.
