I tried this with neighbors at the lake house. It poured a clear dark amber with no head. The scent had hints of bourbon. The taste is heavy on the bock with bourbon hints. The Mouthfeel was lighter body. Overall it's an interesting take on a doppel.

Tasted in a 12 oz snifter from draught at Firkin on December 19, 2017. Look is cloudy amber with an off-white head and lingering lacing. Smell and taste is sweet with a bit of spice. Feel is medium in body.

Cloudy brown body, cream head. Booze is hot in the nose, molasses, caramel, and dark fruit. Booze is very hot in the taste, almost to burning level, wow, which it too bad because the underlying caramel, toffee, dark fruit, molasses, and wheat is good. Feel is hot with booze, wheat and even more so malt shape. Feel like there is a great beer wanting to emerge out of this, wish I would have know so I could have aged my bottle
