This was on draft as "American Mild" at Local Option.
Although it was on draft, it had more of an appearance of cask ale in the sense that there wasn't much visible carbonation at all. High clarity golden tone, bare wisp of foam across the top. Dull papery grain aroma, not much there at all. Flavor was more of the same, it was a clean pale malt flavor, but really just bland and watery. Mild sweetness, flat body. Fairly one dimensional without any yeast or hop character, not to mention carbonation. This one needs some work, it sounded promising, but didn't deliver in the end. Hope Two Bros will tweak this and release a draft Mild again in the future.

Finally snagged a growler at Bierkraft in Brooklyn; why has no one created this entry yet?
Pours pale orange into my mug, with a huge frothy head that leaves scant lacing down the glass but never quite goes away. The smell is sugary, biscuity malts with notes of tropical fruit. The taste is sweet clean grain with a hop bite in the swallow with plenty of fruit. It's medium-bodied, goes down smooth and not as strongly carbonated as the initial foam would indicate. This is the perfect session beer: am well on my way to polishing off the growler and would love to have more.
