Served in a snifter at The Firkin.
This was one of the major draws for me to attend the Two Brothers Tap Takeover. It pours a hazy dark tawny topped by a finger of cream-colored foam. The nose comprises cobwebs, sour orange, sour grape, white wine, honey, light caramel, raspberries, and melon. The taste holds notes of sour honeydew, pineapple, wet hay, lemongrass, light brett, lemon zest, orange, light mango, light honey, and light cedar. The body is a lithe medium, with a moderate carbonation and a sticky finish. Overall, I might just say this is one of my favorite sours. It exhibits a lovely combination of fruity and sour flavors, leaving me wanting ever more.

On-tap at the Firkin for Two Brother's Tap Takeover
This beer is listed as a mixture of their new Britt beer and regular Domaine. This beer pours a cloudy orange. It smells of sour white grapes, golden raisins and some orange peel. The taste is essentially sour mix, pineapple and orange pulp. Interestingly this beer is not to astringent. At this point in my tasting career this is the best sour beer I've had, though I really don't like the style. It's a very good beer with intense flavors.

On-tap at Sheffield's into a goblet.
A: Clear light amber body with almost an inch of dense white head; excellent retention and light lace. Nice.
S: White grapes + white wine vinegar. Very acetic and lightly fruity. Not bad, but not especially impressive.
T: Starts out with lactic and acetic funk, then shows some grape apple, and bready malt. Lively and tasty.
M: Appropriately light and bubbly.
D: I don't know the ABV, but it can't be much. Quite drinkable.
Notes: While not an especially memorable sour, it's a nice moderately intense introduction to the style. Fun to try.
Cheers!

From 7/9/10 notes. Had at a local DC tasting thanks to nimbleprop. This is Two Brothers normal Public Domaine Ale with brett added to it.
a - Pours a golden color with no head and moderate carbonation.
s - Smells of brett, sour fruits, and tart.
t - Tastes of orange, sour fruit, and brett.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation.
d - A pretty interesting and nice APA. Would give another shot.
