Two Brothers has come out with a four part series of single hopped Heavy Handed. The #1 is brewed with Centinnial, #2 with Columbus, #3 with Casscade from "one field", and #4 from "another field" as described by the staff at the Roundhouse. This is similar to Sammy As Latitude deconstructed. The #3 was good, but not as good as #4! The beer poured a nice rich clear deep copper with decent white/off-white head that laced very good. The nose carried tones of fresh hop with very little notes of pine and citrus, little dissappointing. The taste is a very good....a nice balance of malt and hop. The Casscade hop helps the beer be slightly....not over the top....bitter with fresh pine and hints of citrus. The mouthfeel was great....very good balance of malt and hop with decent ABV charge made for a good beer. There is no lingering on the pallet Can't wait to try the bottle of #1 and #2; #3 and #4 were very good. Great job!
