Appears hazy golden tone with a nice sized white frothy head leaving only scattered lace as the glass empties. Aroma contains deep herbal tones some musty yeastiness kinda bready not too bad at all with an underlying sweetness to it. Flavor has a nutty earthy tone creamy and mellow yet refreshing not off but refreshing overall not too hard to swallow down but it's kinda different and trying to be a fad I feel there are better beers out there this is middle of the road. Mouthfeel is creamy texture medium bodied ale looks almost like a hefeweizen cloudy unfiltered but nowhere near as much carbonation. Drinkability is alright not a beer I would go out of my way for but one that I would be willing to sample and break down to give it a fair shot.

Light gold color. Foamy small head. Aroma is vanilla and buttery. A mild tasting golden ale. Malty and hoppy. As with the Hempen Ale I don't notice any "mellow herbal flavor". Mild malts and hops. Mild flavor. Very drinkable, but nothing special. Note that this bottle was a little old. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Presentation: 12oz brown with a colonial background with gold hemp leaves bordering all edges, blurb about the brew and the many uses of the hemp plant.
Appearance: Pale golden and relatively clear, minimal lace.
Smell: Sweet malt with an herbal aroma.
Taste: Smooth, creamy and over herbal. Taste like diluted unsweetened ice tea. Mild astringency pulls through in the middle, going dry at the end and leaving your mouth odd.
Notes: Hemp is a great alternative to many materials and of economic value to those who are allowed to produce it. However, in saying this, hemp does not belong in beer. The oils from the hemp seed impart their flavour in an unpleasant manner when used to excess (hemp seeds are very potent), like in this beer. This is one horrible brew, and the aftertaste is twice as bad.
