Golden body with good white (2mm) solid full cover head.

Nice aromas of brown sugar, hops and brewers mash.

Nice biscuity start to the taste almost becoming sweet before yeast and hops kick into a bitter aftertaste.

Damn good mouthfeel and carbonation rescue a fairly bog standard bitter, but bog standard bitter is far from an insult, ye ken?

Cask. Amber with a slight haze. Thin frothy head.
Sour\off aroma. Some toffee.
Malt to the fore. Caramel. Bitter finish.
A bit chewy.
End of the barrel methinks.

Tried this at the Red Lion in Ealing London.

Appearance: Burnt/dark amber, with a small persitent off-white head.

Aroma: Bready malts, grainy sweetness, and orange peel.

Taste: Begins floral and aromatic, with perfumy malts, before a slight citric sharpness, and finally ending with a hop driven bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, still and oily on the palete.

Drinkability: Quite a flavourful beer but fairly average, doesn't really push any boundries.
