Tasted by half-pint at the Market Porter, nr. the Borough Market, S. London.
A: coming in a very pale straw hue, like a lager even~~ with a thin white cap on top of very low carbonated body.
S: very light grapefruity yet deliciously citrussy hops dominate the nose, refreshing and hoppy, while a faintly sweet pale maltiness sustains quietly underneath.
T: mild honeyish and flowery hoppyness abound, leading to a slightly citrussy flavour as well as bitter-sweet pale malts; soothing and mildly bitter finish, added with aromatic hoppyness lingering in the aftertaste.
M&D: quite smooth to drink, the mouthfeel is yet refreshing thanks to nice and fine carbonation. The texture does fall a bit thin in the aftertaste as the flavour fails to hold the body together. Overall this blond bitter is not bad at all, although a heavier hop presence would make it more successful and balanced.
