Extremely drinkable session beer from Ossett.
Radiant straw body with a well-lacing white head. Pleasant aroma of lemon and grain, with a light herbal hopping. Simple, but clean, and would be a great compliment to a nice Summer's day, but they're rare in the north-west. Nice lemongrass flavour, with a light breadiness and pale malt character in the background. Again, very simple, clean, crisp and refreshing. Light body and natural cask carbonation helps the beer disappear quickly, and contributes to a summery tone. I couldn't believe how easy it was to sink this one.
Easily the most popular beer at our table on a night of mixed open-mic performances at the Elgin.
