Frederiksberg 20/3 2024. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of roasted dark malts mingling with a dark touch of alcohol. Toffee and caramel. Brown sugar and Rye bread. Roasted coffee and a whiff of Kahlua.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong pleasant sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is dark chocolate and alcohol.
Rich, boozy, malty fellow.
