Copenhagen 2/3 2026. 44 cl can for Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can in Stepping Stone´s usual design with a little pink flower struggling in a harsh environment.
Pours opaque unclear yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of overripe stone fruits mingling with a more subtle scent of citrus fruit. Mango, bruised peach and passion fruit. Turpentine. Whiff of mustard. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, a bit creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and tart with a sweet and a little boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
Not exactly stereotypical.
