Copenhagen 28/2 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a fellow sitting on a roof in winter time letting out a ton of sunshine from a bottle.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of fresh stone fruits reminding me of summer mingling with tart citrus fruit. Sweet peach and apricot soon overpowered by astringent citrus fruit like grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A fine bitter and dry ray of sunshine.
