From their website: 'A subtle pale ale, Oracle is a great beer to relax with on a sunny afternoon. With initial sweet biscuity flavours from a complex blend of malts, leading into delicate fruity notes and finishing with a gentle bitterness, Oracle will have you coming back time and again. The perfect beer for a BBQ, or with a fish n' chip supper.

Blind-tasted excl name/style/ABV%. First beer of the day.
L- Mid amber, pours somewhat cloudy, 5mm almost white head that holds well. 4
S- I've such bad winter congestion I get nothing more than 'beery and a touch bright', hmmm. 3.5
T- Hoppy bright for sure, with a piquant bitter-dry aspect. Trad English Pale Ale style. [Bright enough to make me spontaneously sneeze which happens to be helping decongest me, handy!]. Malts underpin things, but hops are the star here. 3.75
F- Would make for a refreshing beer on a warm day. Sessionable by hop-heads of trad pale ale. 3.75
O- Very well put together, certainly on the brighter side and yet notably lacking in gratuitous drama for the sake of it. A bit hoppier/bright than I would usually look for, but very glad I tried this local beer. Absolutely nothing to fault, 10mins in and even the head is still 3mm with heavy lacing forming down the sides of the glass. 3.75 [Would like to revisit this brew in warmer months where such bright hops fit better for me and my sense of smell is working.
Considering the brewery only opened in 2022, this very accomplished brew is really quite something.
Rating/review done, now checking lable: = There is sediment accreted to the bottom of the 500ml bottle. They say they are a micro. Unfiltered, all natural. Contains barley and wheat malts. Bought from the Food+Craft fair at Hauxton Village Hall (Cambs).
Bottled: 11/10/2024-ORAC-0006, consumption suggested within 12months, well, no problem there.
