Flavors of toasted bread, specifically crust, medium body, bitterness in perfect alignment with the sweetness, medium body. Brewed with as the Czech would say two mashes, ours is double decocted with a healthy dose of Czech hops.

Can:
Pours clear initially, but top-offs bring a slight haze. Head is modest. Nose has a nice breadiness to it, but I am looking for some herbal to spicy hops. There’s maybe a little generic fruitiness in the nose than presents more definitely in the taste.
Runs a bit sweet and seems to be lacking bitterness and Saaz bite in this can. If I focus on finding it, I can get a light tingle in some sips and a lingering bitterness does present after half the beer is gone. But overall, this comes to me as a decent American lager more than something squarely in the Czech category. I have a few more to see if my palate is off this sitting.
