A pretty good Hefeweizen. Has all the flavor elements but could have been a bit more robust. Poured from a 16 oz. can into an Aventinus Weizen glass, this beer featured a hazy dull gold color and a smallish bubbly white head with somewhat better than average retention. There was some patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste included all the good Hefe characteristics: wheat bitterness, yeast, coriander, and cloves that combine for that "bubble gum" flavor. It was a bit mild overall when compared to the better German varieties. Mouthfeel was light and refreshing, could have used a bit more astringency. A fairly solid summertime thirstquencher.
