Sojourn Fermentory

Pretty good dark lager. The second of 3 Sojourn Fermentory brews that I bought at the Casual Pint in Virginia Beach VA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a clear brown/amber color that lights up with reddish tones when held to a light. The bubbly off-white head fades very quickly and there is no real lacing on the glass. Aroma and flavor are mild - bready malt, a little caramel and very mild hoppiness. Mouthfeel is medium rich and crisp. The touch of bitterness is a nice addition to an otherwise mild malty beer. THis one could have used a bit more flavor, but it went down easy.
