L- Crystal clear pale amber. Pours with 5mm fine-bubble white head reducing over time to partial lid and lacing.
S- Very light, just some grains and malts.
T- Follows the Smell^ then into a dry and hoppy finish. There is something a touch sour going on which seems misplaced and isn't working for me.
F- It is refreshing, it might suit drinking in summer more than winter.
O- It comes over as a slightly sour Weissbier (wheat beer), somewhat contrary to the lable which indicates that it has 'a slightly sweet taste'. The lable doesn't clearly list the ingredients, hmm.
Bought from the Co-Op at Norwich station/UK 500ml bottle BB: 28/Jul/2020 'Gyle: 2025'

Been sitting on this for some time. Picked it up at a beer convention in Las Vegas, not quite sure if it's available now in the US.
A - bright clear golden pour, nothing on the head.
S - light sweet, little banana, very consistant with the style.
T - pretty clean, very light, but about what I expected.
M & D - overall a smooth crisp and clean beer. Very drinkable, but it's 4.7%, about what I expected. Cool beer to try over here in bottles, but nothing really stands out.

Tasted by half-pint at the GBBF 06. The pump-clip says it's a "Weisse Beer", supposedly a wheat-beer then. Let's see.
A: bright, dark straw in colour, almost golden in a sense; nice foamy white head with good retention, on top of mild carbonation.
S: fruity hops and sweet flowery fragrance, with green apple-ish notes of yeasts plus a touch of vanilla... freshly-cut grassy edges of hops at presence too. There is a hint of unripe green bananas if giving it a very close sniff, but not overtaking--signs of a weizen?
T: a fresh flow of light-bodied malts approachs upfront, coupled with a very light and smooth grainy taste (of wheats?) as well as citric/lemony-zesty bitter edge; clean palate in the end yet profoundly tangy at the same time~~ Pretty different from your normal English Blond Ale, yet not quite in line with a traditional Weizen => an interesting hybrid I'd say.
M&D: more fizzy than usual cask-ales, but giving the beer a crisper edge, maybe to suit the self-assigned wheat-bier profile? Medium-bodied and light on the palate throughout, this is a very quaffable and reasonably delicious "Blond Ale" with a faint resemblance to "Kristal-Weizen" (and vice versa), for the slightly grainy-wheaty taste and a trace of bananas on the aroma and palate. Anyway, I submit it here as a Kristal-Weizen, since there's no such category as English Wheat Beer.
