Brewed with local coffee. Purchased atBroadway Brewhouse across from Hattie B's HOT Chicken. Coffee aroma and taste was phenomenal! Definitely recommend.

On tap at Flying Saucer downtown Nashville. Poured into snifter. First beer of the night. : )
L - Very dark chocolate pour with a one finger brown/mocha head
S - faint coffee and bitter chocolate notes. Very subtle.
T/F - Great full and creamy mouthfeel that is on par with their Chocolate Milk stout. Coffee flavors are there, but not as present as I was expecting or wanting. Still a very easy drinker for me that does a nice job masking the 8.1%abv.
Regardless, Blackstone is still one of the only Nashville area breweries that knows how to do a stout properly IMO. I look forward to more new offerings from them.

L- very dark brown pour with thin brown head.
S- Strong coffee smell
T- Lots of coffee, not much bitterness. Very good flavors. Not as complex as founders breakfast stout, but the flavors that are there are spot on.
F- very heavy beer.
O- another great one from Blackstone. Not an easy drinker as its very heavy but great for a cold snowy night.

Better mouthfeel and coffee than Good People but not as good as Founders Breakfast. Overpriced. Hate to dismiss something local but I'll stick to the 2 aforementioned.

Pours black with a mocha head. Aroma offers some light to medium roasted coffee along with some roastiness from the beer (where I get more chocolate than coffee from but probably only because the actual coffee over-rides the coffee tones from the beer), and some graham cracker. Very nice balance to this ones aroma.Flavor follows suit. Definitely on the sweet end for a stout so I am guessing the base beer is a milk stout. Fortunately, its kept in check. A creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, a great beer. One of best I have yet to discover to come out of Nashville.

Solid coffee stout. A bit light in the mouthfeel for a stout. Good coffee flavor. Nice carbonation. Found the smell the weak point overall. It's not bad, just not as roast and coffee forward as I'd have expected. Above average overall otherwise.
