This beer was on the Brewmaster's Special list. Pours a very dark color with a medium head that sticks around for a while and leaves some lacing on the glass. The aroma is weak, but slightly malty with a coffee/chocolate character. The flavor is very rich and creamy. Flavor of chocolate and coffee as well as roasted malts and some hops. I think Tettnang hops are what give it the bitter finish. Good brew!
