Deep gold color with decent white head. Mild malty aroma, flavor was dominated by rich malt modestly balanced with hops. Smooth aftertaste that made you wanted to have another draught. Very true to style. Good effort.
Most of Blackstone beers I've tried have been malt accented. It makes for a pleasant dining experience but I wish they had something a little more lively.

From a sampler: Pours a murky gold color with a medium white head and thin lacing. Light and sweet aroma. Well rounded and richer than it looks, with flavors of caramel, malt and honey. Chewy yet smooth with a nice finish. Very easy to drink and a good seasonal.
