This bright, citrusy, hazy IPA has a bold and bitter taste that packs a punch. It features a complex blend of aromatic hops, giving it a citrusy flavor profile with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. The malt provides a subtle sweetness and a smooth, balanced finish. This beer is perfect for hop fans and pairs well with spicy foods or rich, flavorful dishes.

Expanding their Swam Water hop series, an Extra Hoppy IPA comes with the Special Edition moniker. This mallard has so much more in store.
Swamp Water Extra Hoppy IPA gets going with a honey amber, light orange pour capped off with a bright white foam cap. As a fruity and botanical nose rises, so does more citrusy, herbal and spruce scents. Sweeter once on the tongue, early malt impressions bring flavors of caramel, honey, toast and nuttiness is a light granola way.
A quick transition of the middle palate shies away from sweeter malt flavors and toward more hops. Citursy with orange and orange peel and pink grapefruit, the hops soon develop a resinous bitterness to capture the essence of pine, fresh grass clippings and peppery resins for a decidedly bitter finish.
Medium bodied and trending dry and bitter, the late taste also chocks full of citrus peels, pine needles and a linger of peppery hop bitterness.

Pours a deep hazy orange in color with white head that gives way to good lacing. Also some sediment in can, but nothing off-putting. Nose is tangerine. Taste initially is hard to describe but the flavor builds. Flavor is tangerine, but slightly weak. Nice bitterness initially on palate and slowly fades.
