16oz draft
Pours a finger of dense white head into a shaker pint glass. Retention is good. Lacing is very nice. Body is pale yellow, crystal clear with no noticeable nucleation. Looks great.
Nose is somewhat subtle with notes of citrus, pineapple, maybe light mango. Smells really nice.
Flavor is much bigger carrying a big dose of juicy gooseberries, stone fruit, mango, and a slight dankness that comes out more with time. A lot going on here and the flavor lingers a while. It’s a modern west coast for sure, no malt profile. Super duper tasty.
Carbonation is medium. Relatively light bodied. Small sweet fruit impression but surely well attenuated and clean. Bitterness is medium but comes out more with time - a little bitter by the end but a solid mouthfeel.
Super drinkable.
Overall a wonderful west coast IPA, best I've had in Italy.
