It pours a deep mahogany that recalls the warmth of hearth and heritage. Aromas of dark toffee and dried fruit rise with quiet strength, while flavors of roasted chestnut and oven-fresh raisin bread carry through a smooth, lingering finish. Stand sure, always.

Had on tap. Somewhat clear brown pour with a beige head. Smell has toasted toffee malts with earthy barley and yeast tones, a hint of prune, but large dirt. Taste has minor date with the prune, toffee, earth and a finish that has a hint of medium toned nuttiness. Feel is light and smooth, dry, but finish is bitter for the style. Easy drinking but not a lot of depth either
