Pours a clear yellow with ample foam in the Frydenlund nonic. Susdy on the tongue. The aroma reminds me of a light Belgian Blonde with the notes of pear and a scratchy finish. The taste and body are more like a Blonde Ale to me. Warm and malty with flavors of cereal and a hint of honey and lemon in the aftertaste. Just a slight bitterness in the aftertaste after drinking half the can.. Overall this is a very pleasant lighter-style brew though perhaps not much like a German-style Kölsch,. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery tasting room. Dated 07/15/24.
