Light and golden, with a honeyed malt sweetness, fruity notes of apple and pear, and a whisper of spicy yeast.

I'm happy to try my first beer from a new brewery when it turns out to be good!
Clear golden brew with long-lasting foam in the Aventinus Weizenbier glass. Inviting aroma of the Belgian yeast with cereal and pear in the nose. Flavors are light and there is even some club soda taste, which is surprisingly ideal with the esters. Mildly sweet but then crisp and a dry finish. The pear aroma and taste is nice. Very elegant and not overly yeasty, but distinctly Belgian tasting. Overall this is an excellent Belgian Blonde that seems made for quaffing. If the Belgians celebrate something like Oktoberfest, this would be the Festbier! From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery bar.
