On tap at Blu Wolf Bistro in Rochester, NY. The label describes this a beer with wild yeast, Brett, plums, and raspberries. Certainly sounds good on paper.
This pours a dull yellow-ish, with no head or lacing.
Smells like almost nothing, super boring, maybe some wheat and hay, but nothing really to write home about.
If you're going to call your beer Sour Norm, at least make it sour. There's basically no sour aspects to this beer- it's maybe a .5/10 on the greesyfizeek sour scale. The fruit flavor is also quite dull. No raspberries, and just the slightest hiccup of plum in here. This is one of the most boring sours I've ever drank, there's just NOTHING to it.
This is light bodied, with a crisp mouthfeel, and a quite watery finish.
This was pretty bad. It wasn't atrocious, but it didn't hit any of the marks I would expect it to, given the descriptions. What a waste of fruit. And yeast. And hops. And malt.
