On tap at the Buffalo Street Grill in Hamburg,NY.Poured from a nitro tap an opaque black with a cascading mocha colored head that became nice and creamy lasting thru the duration of lunch.Mellow aromas mainly highly roasted malt with a hint of unsweetened chocolate.Nice creamy mouthfeel and not to thin like alot of the style,dark roasted malts and unsweetened chocolate dominate the flavors,some French roast coffee flavors linger in the finish nicely.A great early day beer to have,low in alc % although Idont know for sure how low,a very nice offering I have to say EBC brews some fine beers I need to try the Imperial Pale Ale though that is something I will search out.
