Ellicottville has long been a fall destination for leaf peepers and adventure seekers. Adding to the attractions and our best-kept secret is Pumpkinville. What a better way to share this hidden gem than with a beer! Brewed with locally sourced ingredients, including locally-harvested pumpkin, fresh-roasted coffee bean, and finished with seasonal spice & aroma. Big, bold & balanced flavor.

Ellicottville's beers rank anywhere from Okay to Very good with the occasional Outstanding outlier. I find their beers to be more "nifty" than "notable," which is fine. I didn't approach this beer with outrageously high expectations.
This one poured a hazy gold/light amber with around an inch of white head that completely vanished after a few seconds. Looks pumpkiny - check.
Smell was a little odd. Great big baking spice smell up front, but it also smells weirdly artificial. Canned pumpkin. Undercooked yeasty dough. I don't smell coffee here. Sugar bomb artificial pumpkin spice latte flavored syrup that gets pumped into 2 oz of coffee at Starbucks maybe.
Taste follows the nose, along with the disappointing artificial flavor profile. Definitely smelled better than it tasted.
Medium body, medium carbonation.
If you're looking for a solid pumpkin beer, keep looking - there are better options out there.

So far im not a huge fan of this place at all. They seem extremely average in my experience. This is probably the most notable beer I've had from them but it's till your standard pumpkin/coffee ale. Pretty good though

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter at 42 degrees F:
L - orange marmalade with an off-white head that disappeared immediately
S - cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, pumpkin
T - taste follows the nose
F - medium mouthfeel and light carbonation, very smooth and silky
O - too much spice for my taste and not enough coffee

Pours amber with a half inch cream colored head, which dissipates. Light lacing. Suspended particles. Hazy.
Aroma of coffee, spices, pumpkin.
Tastes follows nose: coffee, spices, pumpkin.
Creamy, medium body. Moderate carbonation. Semi-sweet finish.
One of the better pumpkin beers I've had.

Uber thin and fizzy bone white colored head with little to no retention... Color is a slightly murky pale gold... I have a love-hate with the nose... The sweet pumpkin latte pops to start, but there is something a bit off putting below the surface... The pumpkin latte flavor materializes on the palate as well... The finish is fall spice with a touch of cloying... Feel is light bodied... Lots of carbonation in the tongue with a touch of chalkiness... I appreciate the attempt but there is something just a bit off that keeps this from being very enjoyable...

Great smell and level of sweetness I like because still able to pick on the spices and coffee. Smooth, relatively low alc and very drinkable by itself.

This one pours a light golden amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells better than it tastes - I get vanilla, caramel, and sweet coffee on the nose, plus pumpkin spice.
The first sip of this wasn't too bad, as the pumpkin spice latte thing seemed to have been well expressed here. But subsequent sips just made this feel so artificial and sweet, along with weirdly perfumey. I'm not sure what would have caused that, but it's definitely there, and it's not my favorite thing in the world.
This is just too artificial to enjoy, with a light and sugary mouthfeel. I wanted a lot more out of this.
