Went skiing with my family at Holiday Valley Ski Resort in Ellicottville, NY this past Saturday and stopped by the brewery, which is like 5 minutes away from the ski resort, after we were done skiing and grabbed a bomber of this to go. Split the bomber with my good friend Passow. This beer pours a clear medium golden/copper color. Nice white head about an inch thick when poured, eventually settles to a nice thick ring lining the inside of the glass with good lacing. Has a very strong hop aromas with malt and rye following. the taste is the same, a good citrusy hop presence upfront, followed by a good caramel malt flavor and the taste of rye. Once the beer warms up a bit all the flavors really gel together and balance each other quite nicely indeed. Has a bit of a sour and dry aftertaste, and I don't mind it at all. Has a good crisp, smooth, full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in a good way.

Bomber had by myself, found at Premier Gourmet. Pours golden with foaing and dissitating white head, that leaves waves of white lace. Aroma of Centennial and Amarillo, with rye and malt behind it is very nice. Mouth is easy drinking, soft, however a sourness (a problem with this brewery I have experienced before) comes on quickly and lingers. Taste of a pale, understated hops and malts. Good carbonation.
