Ellicottville Brewing Co. "Infusion Ltd. Series: Honey Jasmine"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle. The ink jet dating on the neck is illegible.
$3.29 @ Foodery Beer, Phila., PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy golden body beneath a short head of white foam. I can smell the Jasmine in the aroma but not the honey. It's malty and sweetish. By the way, the honey is real but the Jasmine is a "natural flavor". The taste is much fuller than the aroma suggests and you can definitely taste the honey. It's a little tea-like, herbal, and sweetish but not cloying. I'm not sure how much bitterness is there but it's fairly balanced. I like it a lot. It's unusual, and although on the sweet side, refreshing. In the mouth it's light-medium in body and gently crisp. I didn't know what to expect of this beer and so it's a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't drink it as a regular beer but I'd certainly have one every now and again if it was available.

Pours a dark orange. Thin foam. Sweet lime aroma. Very sweet honey flavor. Lime and Jasmine finish. Not bad. A little too sweet. Good flavor but I wouldn't drink too many of these.
