Pours dark. Thin foam. Raspberry aroma. Raspberry chocolate body. Bitter finish. Tastes a little artificial. Pretty thin. Could be a little sweeter. Average at best.

Bottled on 11/4/21. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; fluffy khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing.
The aromas have hints of cocoa and raspberries. Hints of marshmallow. Malts are there.
The flavors have a nice blend of chocolate and raspberries. The raspberries are on the subtle side, but don't go unnoticed. It's not tart and isn't as sweet as one might think. Moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes clean. Alcohol goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy and smooth.
This is a solid brew. It has almost everything that you'd look for in a raspberry porter, more or less. Not bad.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured an opaque dark with very thin ecru ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had wonderful chocolate and berry notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle chocolate base and strong Raspberry highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

It looks like a typical porter, dark, dark brown. After escaping into a clear pint glass from a pint can, this may be observed. There's no head and unless otherwise mentioned, there will be no glass lacing. The roasted malt and a hint of chocolate make for a nice bouquet. This drinks so flatly, it's a negative distraction from the taste. That's odd, because it's obviously sufficiently carbonated. Unfortunately, the taste doesn't come close to redeeming this one. The dark chocolate and raspberry infusions are too insignificant to rescue the overall. A bland and flat porter, with only hints of chocolate and raspberry that isn't worth the trouble. If you're going to make a dessert beer, go all out with flavor, or have an incredible porter/stout at the base.

Pours mahogany with a 1/4 inch cream-colored head, which dissipates. Light lacing.
Aroma of raspberries, chocolate, coffee.
Taste follows nose: Raspberries, chocolate, coffee.
Medium bodied, light carbonation. Semi-sweet finish.
An interesting beer. Decent.
