Being brewed again poured into a pint glass smell is of fruited raspberry and sweetness maybe some barrel but the taste transitions really well smooth caramel mixed with some tart raspberry tickles the senses I never experienced before with very little bitterness or wood taste. Body is light to medium crisp and easy to drink,

Overall well worth the 6 bucks for the pounder I may have it again if I can find a four pack pounders cheaper.

I definitely appreciate this offering and looking forward to them doing this again, I think Averys is still my favorite as far as BA raspberry sours but overall this was quite solid

12 fl oz bottle
Served in a sour glass

This beer pours amber with burnt orange highlights. It has a slight haze and is topped with less than an inch of tan head that disappeared quickly.

The nose is tart and sweet raspberry.

The taste is tart raspberry. There is a lingering tart finish.

Medium bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel

This is a pretty good beer. It goes down well on a cool summer evening.

The first sour to ever get me into sours. I still have a very special place in my heart for this beer. Red amber in color, amazing raspberry flavor, I will always love and enjoy this beer.

Fantastic brew! Pours a dark, deep hazy red with an excited fizzy white head. The aromatic is nice, the brew smells almost like a raspberry liqueur, but this does not do the taste justice. The beer jumps up and down, side to side inside the mouth, and gives off wonderful flavors of juicy, ripe raspberries, rich, dark blackberries, tart lime, and light salt. My only complaint is that the finish is not long enough, although the brew is quite generous with flavor. If you're ever in the Buffalo area, try it! It's delightfully thirst quenching.

Gold reddish color. Nice feel ,carbonation was medium and the taste was mild and we'll balanced. Fruit was present but mild and it had a sour taste but again was mild. Not an extreme beer but that's what made it work, very easy beer to drink and would seek it out again

L: Hazy pinkish amber with a small film of bubbly white head. Just a bit of lacing.

S: Tart raspberry puree leaning towards jammy sweetness, with a bit of vinous and vinegary funk.

T: Big lacto tartness, leaning toward red wine and vinegar, a musty funkiness, perfectly balanced against the big jammy sweetness of freshly pureed raspberries. There's just a hint of biscuity malt and a hint of lemon and green apple candy. Finishes dry, vinous, lightly earthy, super tart and raspberry-forward

F: Medium-light body with ample carbonation, leaning toward champagne.

O: A beautiful portrayal of raspberries in beer. The beer raspberry sour I've had so far in my beer journey.

Pours a pinkish orange color. Clear with lots of bubbles to rise and keep on rising. Looks Like strawberry soda with no head. Scent is perfect raspberry and a little bit of malt. A dry musty smell but faint. taste is lively and without much hops presence to the tastebuds. That si passionate with fruit and the souring technique has created a perfect mouthfeel. gently puckers as you drink with a light fruity essence of sweetness. Malt is crsip and wlel defined although you never really taste it . You feel it until the last moments of the finish then you taste it. That funky or musty scent is different from barnyard. this beer is impeccably dry. N9o alcohol on the palate or nose at all. No warming. Lively crisp bubbly finish. Light hint of the hops herbal in the aftertaste. what hops were they?
