16 ounce can, canned 01/18/23, thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, cream and roasted malt. Taste is close enough to the aroma, but there's also a bit of dark fruit, oak and dark breadiness noticeable too. Don't really pick up much barrel here. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. Also easy to drink. Though this was a good brew, but wish it had more of a barrel kick but that's a very minor complaint since it's still tasty. Would like to try this one again sometime!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This excellent brew pours a coal black with
a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thin ring with light lacing. Nose
of dark chocolate, faint bourbon, heavy dark coffee, and cream notes amongst
some char. Flavors hit the mark; dark coffee, cream, char, dark chocolate, and
dark fruits of blackberry laced with dark breaded notes amongst some dark raisins.
Mouth feel is medium full teetering on full, smooth, lightly coating, smooth,
medium light carbonation leaning towards light, and a sweet yet balanced bitter
malt and coffee finish.
Overall----a VERY nice presentation of a chocolate coffee stout BBA.....seek
this one out!
Cheers
