16oz can, adhesive label. Bottom stamp is '06/16/2025 HELLES #146'.
Slightly cloudy, straw colored body. One finger of white colored head with the pour, and this fades back to a coned cap and high reaching ring. Interrupted walls of lacing on the non-drinking side of the glass.
Aroma is very malty with bread dough smells. Touch of floral.
Taste is malty, hoppy, and fruity. Has a sweet toasted bread flavor, and further floral and fruity, including lemon, components. Light spice note from hops. Aftertaste stays sweet and grainy.
Medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth but has a crisp and bright finish. Low bitterness. Excellent carbonation.
Looks good in the glass, and has expressive hoppy flavors, along with the sweet malt base.

5/20/25 DOB - poured into willi becher. This is probably my 20th one of these and a much belated post.
Clear light golden color with beady threads protruding through the glass. Nice lacing on inside. Clean finish, nice firm structure and mouth feel. This is about the best Bavarian style Helles I have tried in North America. No one thus far has been able to match the cookie sweetness of the true Munich Helles but this is one I am happy to support. Their HQ in the Sierra Nevada foothills make their distribution limited to Tahoe / Sacramento area but it is now available in the SF Bay Area.
I also just found out today BrewBilt is a public company - why? :-). Hope they stick around for a while because this one is a winner. And their pils is excellent but not part of the standard lineup. Want to try their cold IPA.
