12oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found, but purchased at the Good Cause taproom. This is labeled as a 'Special Edition', and described as "Made w/ limited edition IPA yeast for fruity dankness". 8.5% ABV.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Thick finger of white head with the pour, and this slowly sinks to a thin cap. Leaves behind thin lacing strings.
Aroma of berry, and tropical fruit.
Taste is sweet and tart. Flavors of berry and tropical fruit, with an added kick of dank herb. Remains juicy in the aftertaste that fades quickly.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean and crisp finish. Low bitterness. Good carbonation.
The IPA yeast does add a dank kick to the mix, and this combination is seldom encountered.
